There's A Knock At Your Door

Blood. Sweat. Tears.

An icing numbness engulfs my chest.

It spreads further, inch by inch.

Swelling in its wake is a chilling realization of what could have been

compared to the present.

Knock, knock, knock

Rings echos between my ears.

Will you answer the calls of perseverance?

Or be swallowed up by fear of failure?

Knock, knock, knock

Who lingers there?

Open the curtains, bring up the shades,

don’t allow doubt to build barricades.

Knock, knock, knock

The Savior is there

He’s asking for you, he’s waiting for you!

Will you give Him your answer?

Will you give Him your service?

Knock, knock, knock

Only when you're ready

He will never pressure you

He will never force your hand

His love is gentle, and His love is kind

Open the door and you'll never be left behind.

But please, come as you are.
